I can't relate to any of the negative comments below. I was seen quickly by the doctor, who seemed engaged, took the information I gave her seriously and was empathetic. I was quickly referred for more tests. The reception staff were also lovely. From my experience, it's a great practice.
As good as it gets. Saddened to see some reviews of this practice which are actually as much of a reflection on the reviewer(s). We moved into this area recently and compared with our previous experience with an NHS practice have always been treated professionally, courteously and, within the confines of the system, efficiently. The online repeat prescription works well and I was pleased to get a call telling me when an item had not arrived, saving me a trip to the surgery. My expectations of this facility were moderate, and have been exceeded in almost all respects. Do as you would be done by.
I moved from Derbyshire from an excellent medical practice with a practice manager that had a monthly consultation group. This practice, while not perfect isn't anywhere near as bad as some have made out. I have no problem with my repeat prescriptions which are always ready for me to collect. No one has ever been rude to me and although I sometimes have a week to wait for an appointment there are worse things going on in the world. The decor could do with a facelift and I understand from the signage that it is being done. The doctors are always helpful as are the staff in the dispensary. I have been several times since I moved and this is a considered review not a spiteful rant based on one negative experience. Make of that what you will.
No email address to contact the practice manager!!Finally got fed up with the monthly fight of ordering my repeat meds on- line, so tried to email my suggestions for a more efficient way to do it. But no email address. I'm doing this on a Sunday, I'm away next week, Had I been able to order my meds, I would have picked them up on my return, but as I can't order them ..... As it is I will now go a full week without my diabetes meds. SERIOUSLY FED UP (Mood NOT improved by you forcing me to add a star before allowing me to make a comment)
This practice simply sucks. Long delays before the 5th July 2016 appointment change and even worse after you have to call and wait for hours for a call back and then rush into the practice to find our that you simply was not booked in ! And yet sit and wait again !The doctors often tell conflicting information or just simply sound not bothered at all or rushing through the appointment, and only start thinking when asked to record exactly what he or she is saying/advising vs what the one tells them about so the one can have a copy of that record for legal purposes in the future. This implies responsibility and, one can guess it, potential liability for a legal action. It is shame that this practice is run in such a disgraceful way !
